Briony Marshall Sculpture

Emerging sculptor Briony Marshall has been awarded the Pangolin London Sculpture Residency. She will be the sculptor in residence at the cultural landmark Kings Place, using a sculpture workshop set up and supported by the Pangolin London Gallery and the Pangolin Foundry. She will be developing a new body of work in preparation for a solo show in 2013. Her work takes inspiration from scientific knowledge and molecular structures, mixed with representations of personal relationships, to draw out moments of insight into the world around us and our place in it.

Pangolin London is one of Londons few galleries dedicated to exhibiting sculpture. The exhibition programme includes work by a range of established and emerging sculptors including Lynn Chadwick, William Tucker, Ralph Brown, Jon Buck, Terence Coventry, Abigail Fallis, Peter Randall-Page and Ann Christopher, as well as organising mixed exhibitions featuring a number of well known contemporary names.

Kings Place is a hub for music, art, dialogue and food, housed in an award-winning building in Kings Cross, which also provides world class conferencing, events and office space. Since opening to the public in September 2008, a diverse and open minded programme has established Kings Place as one of Europes leading cultural landmarks.

Spatial Thoughts on Sculpture by Bill West
By all means Briony is an emerging sculptor! A different and creative take on space and not only what fills that space, but how it relates. I like it!
